The 2007 NZ Kiteboarding Nationals in Nelson - Results (See new photos of event in Gallery)
Well after 3 days of very hot light wind days it was all on - on the last day.
Jamie Barrow took the title stomping a huge 10/10 L3, a great slim chance and a bag full of other very hard tricks. Marc Jacobs was on fire too - monster 30 - 40ft jump to hooked in kiteloop then unhooks going sideways very fast and stomps the pass -so sick to see and took 2nd (as well as best trick and juniors). The womans saw a record entry and the level sure has gone up. Sue Kay rode hard out to pip hugely improved Rachael Cann at the post. The legends was a real standout and very entertaining to watch - it was kind of like a kiteloop demolition derby and the 40 and overs were killing it large (including the crowd). Brad took the title with technical moves 20 years his youth.
