As if many of NZs beaches are not remote enough already, a group of kiteboarders got together and chartered an aeroplane to fly to a beach on Stewart Island (one of the most remote places in the world south of the south island). Quote by Julie Godfrey "7 people, 350 kg of gear - pilot walks over and says 'you got too much shit' (no, 'hi, how are you'). After a quick chat we get to keep everything, but have to load bags on our knees." Cool!
